THUNDERSTRUCK is an Irish AC/DC tribute band formed in 2004 by five highly talented, professional musicians with one common passion – AC/DC music… Nicky, Adrian, Podge, John, and Niall were the first ones to form the longest standing AC/DC tribute band in the country!
In 2009, THUNDERSTRUCK were taking part in Irish National Television's RTE documentary series "Scrap Metal The Tour" (or, as it was shown on RTE2, "Karl Spain Wants To Rock"), playing alongside other four best tribute bands in the country.
In 2010, the band headlined the Ireland Bike Fest, an international motorcycle gathering endorsed by Harley Davidson (R).
In late 2011, the band parted ways with Adrian (lead) and Niall (drums).
New members David and Alan were announced in March of 2012.
From pubs to dance-halls, from private birthday parties to bike festivals, if there's a demand for AC/DC music, there is demand for THUNDERSTRUCK.
