Scrap Metal was documentary series commissioned to capture the events of Scrap Metal: The Tour. Offering a revealing, humourous and inspirational account of Ireland’s best monster of rock tribute bands on tour together, it captured the journey, the drama and the chaos as the bands competed to be crowned the Scrap Metal champions.
The series was produced by Bang Bang Teo for RTE and was broadcast in 5 parts on RTE 2.
We were honoured to take part in this Tour as it was great experience. Unfortunately, we were the first ones to go after the show in Limerick.
But - no regrets, we keep on rockin'!
We'd just like to add that there is no "best tribute band", all the bands participating in the show are the best in their own field, and we would like to congratulate Metallitia on their success in the show!
